Agartala, Tripura, 3rd of October 2025 : Under the theme “Ek din, Ek ghanta, Ek saath”, 124 Bn CRPF Salbagan, carried out a cleanliness drive at Kali Mandir Kolabagan, Agartala, district West Tripura to promote hygiene, community responsibility and environmental awareness, in which Sh. Ravish Kumar, Comdt-124 BN CRPF, Sh Akhilesh Kumar, 2 I/C, Sh. H.L. Gangte, DC, Sh. Y.K. Nixon, DC and all Jawans of 124 BN CRPF participated with great enthusiasm, reaffirming their commitment towards the mission of cleanliness and green India.
On 1st October, 2025, a Blood donation camp was organized at Group Centre CRPF, Agartala by GC CRPF Agartala along with 124 BN CRPF as a part of Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan. During the camp, a medical team under Dr. Dipak Karmakar from ILS Hospital Agartala and Dr. K. Venkata Avinash, CMO (OG) of 124 BN, CRPF and Dr. Sudheshna Debbarma, MO of GC CRPF, Agartala were present. CRPF personnel voluntarily came forward to donate blood as symbol of noble act and CRPF is not only engaged in maintaining internal security, fighting terrorism, and ensuring peace in disturbed area, but also actively participates in social welfare measures. Blood donation is a gift of life, and CRPF has always set an example by extending its support to the community in times of need.
Besides, an awareness session was conducted at HQ/124 BN, CRPF, Salbagan on 01/10/2025 by Dr. K. Venkata Avinash, CMO (OG) and his staff in presence of Sh. Y.K. Nixon, Dy. Comdt. of 124 BN CRPF and under the supervision of Sh. Ravish Kumar, Comdt-124 Bn, CRPF with spouses and children of unit personnel were present and focusing on improving the health outcome, nutrition and hygiene of women, adolescent girls & children and strengthen immunization and child health coverage. The event aims to brings together family members of force personnel and healthcare providers of the force to reaffirm the vision: Healthy Women, Empowered Families, Stronger India.
On 2nd October, 2025 under Swachta Hi Seva campaign 2025, 124 Bn, CRPF organized under the theme “Swatch Bharat Diwas” by conducting cleanliness drive at Oxygen Park and nearby area, Salbagan Agartala, district West Tripura in which Sh. Ravish Kumar, Comdt-124 BN CRPF, Sh. Akhlesh Kumar, 2 I/C, Dr. K. Venkata Avinash, CMO (OG), Sh. Y.K. Nixon, DC and all Jawans of 124 BN CRPF were participated. The program involved cleaning of public areas, removal of plastic waste and sensitisation on maintaining hygiene and sanitation. The campaign sets a symbol of commitment that “Cleanliness is not only a responsibility but also form of service to the nation and CRPF always stands committed to contributing towards a clean and healthy environment of our society’.
