13 Tripura Battalion NCC : Day 4 of CATC-33 Highlights Field Training, Awareness & Practical Exposure.

Agartala, Tripura, 11th of April 2026 : The 13 Tripura Battalion NCC successfully conducted Day 4 of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-33) on 11 April 2026, under the leadership of the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath.

The day commenced with a “Run for Fun” at Heritage Park, promoting physical fitness, enthusiasm, and team spirit among the cadets. This was followed by breakfast and drill practice, enhancing discipline and coordination.

During the forenoon session, a lecture on Basic Military Skills & Survival was delivered by the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath, where cadets gained valuable insights into fieldcraft, survival techniques, and military preparedness.

Cadets then attended a Cyber Security session, creating awareness about safe and responsible use of digital platforms. After a tea break, a Medical Review (MR) was conducted to ensure the health and well-being of all cadets.

Following lunch and rest (OTW), the afternoon session included a lecture and demonstration on Fire Fighting & Rescue, providing practical exposure to emergency response techniques.

In the later part of the day, a lecture on Drug Abuse was delivered by a Medical Officer, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the dangers of substance abuse.

Cadets were also taken for a visit to Akhura Border, offering them valuable exposure to border management and security operations. Additionally, cadets actively participated in debate activities, enhancing their confidence, communication skills, and critical thinking.

The day concluded with personal hygiene, roll call, and dinner, maintaining discipline and routine within the camp.

Overall, Day 4 of CATC-33 was conducted successfully with a balanced combination of physical activity, military training, awareness sessions, and field exposure, contributing significantly to the holistic development of the cadets.
