Agartala, Tripura, 14th of September, 2025 : With the initiative of ICFAI University organized 20th Convocation at University campus, Kamalghat, Agartala, Tripura on Saturday (13th September, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the event Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that a degree is not the end of a subject, but rather an opportunity for continuous learning. The young generation must utilize this opportunity to reach the court of the world. He said that students should utilize all the new aspects that have been revealed in the field of education and not only develop themselves but also take the country to a place of pride. He said that students are the future of the country. They will take the lead in the country. The Governor expressed the hope that they will play a special role in taking the small state of Tripura forward.
Highlighting the occasion, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu remarked that ICFAI University is playing the role of an architect in shaping young students into responsible citizens. He expressed hope that ICFAI University, as a unique institution of excellence in North-East India, will reach greater heights in the future.
Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, Founder, Bandhan Bank was present as the chief guest at the 20th Convocation programme of ICFAI University. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Dr. T. Tirupati Rao is the Chancellor of ICFAI University Tripura, Bhagirathi Panda, Director ICSSR-NERC, Shillong and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
