Agartala, Tripura, 5th of February, 2026 : The 2nd Edition of Pithe Puli Utsav, a vibrant celebration of traditional cuisine, culture, and community spirit, concluded successfully after four days of grand festivities held from 31st January to 2nd February 2026 at Mukti Sangha Puja Ground, Ramnagar 5-6, Agartala.

The festival showcased the rich culinary heritage of Bengal and Tripura, with more than 20 food stalls offering a wide variety of traditional Pithe, Puli, and popular street foods. The event also served as a significant platform to promote and encourage women’s entrepreneurship, with several women-led stalls receiving overwhelming appreciation from visitors.
The festival was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Shri Dipak Majumder, who extended his warm greetings to the organizers and attendees. He welcomed the public to participate in the four-day celebration, highlighting that the festival was open to all with free entry, encouraging inclusive community participation.
The cultural segment of the festival remained one of the major highlights, featuring a wide range of performances including group songs, dances, skits, yoga demonstrations, recitations, and special performances by talented individuals. A major attraction of the cultural stage was the traditional fashion showcase titled “Threads of Fashion” presented by Totell Fashion. The fashion show featured more than 60 models across the four days and was choreographed by Joy Deb, Jayanta Sarkar, Deepjoy Chism, and Sagnik, earning immense appreciation from the audience.

The festival also witnessed electrifying musical performances by renowned folk and contemporary bands, including ASHOR, CHANNACHARA, NATIONAL FREQUENCY, and MELODY JAMMERS, which captivated and entertained visitors throughout the event.
The four-day festival was presented by Mukti Sangha in association with Amar Tripura and curated by Agartala Events For You, successfully bringing together culture, tradition, entertainment, and entrepreneurship under one platform.
Mukti Sangha Club Secretary, Shri Pinaki Chakraborty, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all participants, performers, and visitors for making the event a grand success. Shri Samarpan Bhattacharjee, Convener of Pithe Puli Utsav, also conveyed his sincere thanks to all sponsors and members of Mukti Sangha for their unwavering support and cooperation in organizing the festival.

The successful completion of the 2nd Edition of Pithe Puli Utsav has further strengthened its position as one of the most anticipated cultural and food festivals in Agartala, celebrating tradition while fostering community bonding and entrepreneurial growth.
