“51st Episode Of Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” Weekly Public Interaction Programme Of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Agartala, Tripura, 7th of August, 2025 : Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “51st episode of  Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Wednesday (6th August, 2025), people of different profession in the State attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives. Like other days today also the chief minister, in his official residence, listened to the grievances and complaints of people coming from different corners of the state. None of the visitors went back disappointed as the chief minister offered his support in one way or the other.

Biru Jamatia, a daily wage laborer from Killa who supports his family through manual work, was recently diagnosed with a neurological disorder. After reviewing his medical documents, the Chief Minister took prompt steps to arrange for his advanced treatment. Arpita Shil from Anandnagar visited with a serious oral health problem. Mridul Chakraborty’s son from Kalyanpur came to request support for his father’s cancer treatment. Manju Sen from Ramnagar and Rekha Rani Das from AD Nagar are both suffering from cancer. The Chief Minister spoke with them and inquired about their family situations, and then arranged the required medical support.

The guardians of Diya Chowdhury, a young girl from Bardowali, approached the Chief Minister regarding a grave problem in her leg, which she has had since birth. The Chief Minister took detailed information about her condition and immediately instructed the Superintendent of GB Hospital to provide necessary medical assistance to the child.

Additionally, Tanmoy Deb from Bardowali, Prarthana Roy from Kamalasagar, Milan Debbarma from Fatikroy, and Swapan Kumar Bhowmik from Abhoynagar also shared their difficulties with the Chief Minister, who assured them of appropriate solutions.

Among others present at the programme were Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Kiran Gitte, Secretary of the Health Department, Tapas Roy, Secretary of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department, Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital, Dr. Shiromoni Debbarma, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital. As part of the programme, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha also handed over a cheque of ₹4 lakh from the SDRF fund to the family of late Sanjit Biswas of Chhinaihani, Agartala. It is worth noting that Sanjit Biswas tragically drowned and died on July 10th.
