9th India Pharma Conference 2026 To Be Held In New Delhi On April 13-14.

New Delhi, Delhi, 30th of March 2026 : The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), is set to organize the 9th Edition of India Pharma 2026 on April 13-14, 2026 at Federation House, New Delhi.The conference will serve as a strategic platform to accelerate the sector’s transition from a volume-driven industry to a value- and innovation-led global powerhouse.

With the theme ‘Discover in India: Leapfrogging Life-Sciences Innovation,’ the conference aims to position India as a global hub for cutting-edge research and innovation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The theme underscores India’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access, accelerating innovation, and strengthening global health security. The event will bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, global industry leaders, researchers and innovators, to deliberate on emerging opportunities in drug discovery, complex generics, and biosimilars. It will also showcase India’s robust manufacturing capabilities and its rapidly expanding R&D ecosystem, reinforcing its position in the global pharmaceutical value chain.

India Pharma 2026 is a flagship initiative aimed at promoting India’s pharmaceutical prowess, fostering innovation, and strengthening global supply chains through collaboration and policy dialogue.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), established in 1927, is India’s oldest and largest apex business organization. A non-government, not-for-profit body, FICCI represents the voice of India’s business and industry, serving a diverse membership of over 2,50,000 companies, including corporate entities and multinational firms, through its extensive network of regional chambers across the country.

The Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers is supporting the country’s pharmaceutical and medtech sector to drive  innovation and Atma Nirbharta, with focused policy interventions, infrastructure development & strengthened industry-academia partnerships, aligned with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
