Large Quantity Of Stationary & Sports Items Distributed.

Amarpur, Tripura, 27th of January 2026 : 24 CRPF successfully organized distribution of stationery and sports items program at Kambukcherra S.B. School, Hezamara, West Tripura today. Conducted under Civic Action Program initiative, the distribution program benefitted 03 schools in the area viz Kambukcherra S. B. School, Surendra Nagar English Medium H/S school and Harep Kotor J.B. School, Hezamara. Shri Henzang, DIG, CRPF graced the occasion as chief guest with Shri Ravish Kumar, Commandant 124 CRPF as chief Host of the event which was attended by Shri Sabyasachi Debnath, SDPO, Mohanpur, Shri Shankar Kataria, Principal, JNV, Mohanpur, Shri Ravindra Debbarma, Headmaster, Kambukcherra S.B. School and other civil dignitaries of the area.

Beside the school going students, the event witnessed huge turn out of parents, school authority and members of social clubs of the area. A stationery package comprising of 06 notebooks, 05 pens, one pencil pack, an eraser and sharpener each were distributed to 100 students. 20 students from Kambukcherra S.B. School, 10 students from Harep Kotor J.B. School and another 70 students from Surendra Nagar English Medium H/S School were provided the stationery items. Moreover, a football set with goal-net was distributed to Khathancha Club, Hezamara and a volleyball set with net was given to Khabaksa Club, Hezamara.

The program was also enlivened by local performers with folksongs and traditional dance which was received with deep appreciation from all sides. During his address to the members of the gathering, Shri Ravish Kumar, Commandant, impressed upon them that CRPF is always committed not only to security aspects but also towards community upliftment initiatives and all-round education. He further stressed that the Organization will continue to assist citizens in the area of operation.
Students, civilians and invitees who were in attendance were provided with tea, snacks, biscuit and sweets. Before dispersal of the gathering, an enthusiastic mass singing of the National song was conducted in commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram.
