Education Is the Foundation of a Developed India: Danish Azad Ansari

Addressing the conference, Mr. Danish Azad Ansari, Hon’ble Minister for Minority Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, stated that the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat can only be achieved through sustained, long-term efforts.

He emphasized that nearly 20 percent of Uttar Pradesh’s population belongs to minority communities, representing a vast reservoir of potential. By integrating this population into quality education and skill development, the dream of a developed India can be realized.

He firmly stated that education is the foundation upon which the strong and beautiful structure of Viksit Bharat will stand, and minority educational institutions have a critical role to play in this process.

NCMEI Acts as a Bridge Between Policy and Institutions: Prof. Naima Khatoon

Prof. Naima Khatoon, Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, highlighted that NCMEI serves as a strong institutional bridge between the Central and State Governments. This role has significantly improved policy implementation and provided much-needed support and stability to minority educational institutions across the country.

India’s Strength Lies in Its Unity: Indresh Kumar

Mr. Indresh Kumar, Margdarshak of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, stated that God is one, though names may differ, and that conflict in the name of religion has no justification.

He stressed that India’s true strength lies in unity, education, morality, and humanity. While faiths may differ, the collective goal remains the same — to build a responsible, honest, and empowered citizenry that strengthens the nation.

Minority Institutions Can Become Models of Social Harmony: Shahid Akhtar

Mr. Shahid Akhtar Sahib, Executive Chairman of NCMEI, remarked that India’s cultural heritage is exceptionally rich, and minority educational institutions can play a transformative role in the Viksit Bharat mission.

He noted that through coordination and cooperation between majority and minority communities, hatred can be replaced with harmony, and educational institutions can emerge as role models of social cohesion.

Diversity Is India’s Greatest Strength: Ankit Kumar Agarwal, IAS

Mr. Ankit Agarwal, IAS, stated that India’s diversity is not a weakness but its greatest strength. He emphasized that education not only promotes social mobility but also significantly reinforces national unity.

The conference proceedings were efficiently conducted by Colonel Tahir Mustafa, Registrar, Jamia Hamdard. This National Conference proved to be a significant milestone, firmly positioning minority educational institutions as active and integral partners in India’s collective journey toward Viksit Bharat @2047.
