Dharmanagar, Tripura, 1st of February, 2026 : The Mind Quest Olympiad Test was held in Dharmanagar in early January through a joint initiative of the Raman Institute’s Dharmanagar and Panisagar branches. The examination took place at two centres—Dharmanagar Government College and Tilthai School. Today, the participating students were honoured with awards in a colourful felicitation ceremony.The prize distribution programme was organised at the Ardhendu Bhattacharjee Smriti Bhavan in Dharmanagar, where a total of 80 meritorious students were awarded across three categories—Group A, Group B, and Group C. The event witnessed a festive atmosphere, with parents and teachers expressing joy and pride over the students’ achievements.

The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Aparna Nath, Chairperson of the North Tripura Zilla Parishad. Among other distinguished attendees were Tarun Kumar De KananGo, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Dharmanagar Government College; eminent teacher Shashanka Shekhar Das; along with several educationists and respected members of society.It is noteworthy that this educational initiative has been organised consistently for the past three years and has entered its third edition this year. The organisers stated that similar Olympiads and competitive programmes will continue in the future to nurture and enhance students’ intellectual potential.One of the most significant aspects of the Olympiad is that no participation fee was charged from the students. The entire programme was conducted through the collective efforts of the members of the Raman Institute, with support from various organisations. Representing the Raman Institute at the event were founder member Shantanu Bhattacharjee, along with Samrat Singh, Kaushik Choudhury, and Saikat Majumdar. The guests expressed hope that such initiatives in the field of education would continue to inspire the next generation through their dedicated and collective efforts.
