Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, 7th of February, 2026 : The grand and historic inauguration ceremony of J.H.I. English Academy was held on Saturday in Chaubara village of Saharanpur district, marking a significant milestone in the field of rural education. The academy was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Dr. Indresh Kumar, Margdarshak (Guide), Muslim Rashtriya Manch, in a dignified and inspiring atmosphere. The event was organised with a clear vision of promoting education not merely as a means to earn degrees, but as a powerful tool for character building, justice, humanity, and nation-building.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of educationists, social thinkers, religious scholars, and eminent citizens, all of whom lauded the initiative and described it as a visionary step towards educational awakening in rural areas.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Dr. Indresh Kumar said that this was not an ordinary programme, but a gathering rooted in humanity—one that is closest to the Almighty. He emphasised that being a minority should never be seen as a weakness but as a strength, and reaffirmed that all citizens of the country enjoy equal rights under the Constitution. He called upon the youth to move forward with confidence and bring positive changes in their thinking and lifestyle.
Welcoming the guests, Mrs. Aliya Jamal Sahiba, Director of J.H.I. English Academy, stated that the objective of the institution is not limited to imparting textbook knowledge alone. Instead, the academy aims to teach children the art of living, strengthen their identity, and connect them with their cultural roots and moral values. She expressed confidence that the academy would lay a strong foundation for positive social change in the coming years.
Renowned academician from the University of Delhi, Prof. Dr. Imran Chowdhury, expressed concern over the present education system and remarked that education remains the strongest path to the progress of any community and region. Highlighting the issue of rising dropout rates, he stressed the need for collective commitment to ensure that children reach higher levels of education.
Speaking on the occasion, Colonel Tahir Mustafa, Registrar, Jamia Hamdard, said that a soldier is not only someone who stands on the border in uniform, but anyone who serves the nation honestly in their own capacity. He added that educational awareness is the key to eliminating mindsets of discrimination and hatred.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar, Executive Chairman, National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), described the school as more than just a building, calling it a spiritual force that would guide society in the right direction. Senior leader and Member of Parliament Jagadambika Pal expressed confidence that this day would be remembered in golden letters in the history of India, and that this village would produce future leaders for the nation.
Prominent personalities including Maulana Shahid Mazahiri, Dr. Guddu Chauhan, and Sahab Singh Pundir, along with several educationists, social workers, and distinguished citizens, were present at the event. The participation of national and state-level office bearers of Jamiat Himayat-ul-Islam from different parts of the country further enhanced the dignity of the ceremony.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve that J.H.I. English Academy would work tirelessly to make education a strong medium not only for knowledge, but also for character, justice, humanity, and nation-building.
