Mumbai, Maharashtra, 12th of February, 2026 : Qaseem Haider has taken a thoughtful and self-guided journey through the Indian entertainment scene. Instead of banking on a single moment to catapult him to fame, this talented actor and lyricist has dedicated himself to building a steady portfolio in both music and film.
By 2026, Qaseem is gaining recognition for his songs that prioritize emotional depth over flashy displays. His writing tends to steer clear of overly dramatic language, opting instead to explore subtle situations and feelings that unfold in a more understated manner. This style has struck a chord with listeners who appreciate music driven by storytelling.
His latest release, “Arziyaan,” showcases a collaboration between Indian and Bhutanese artists, featuring Bollywood composer and singer Nitesh Tiwari alongside Bhutanese talent Pem Dem Dorji. The focus here is on simplicity rather than complex fusion.
The lyrics, penned by Qaseem, are straightforward and unadorned. Nitesh Tiwari took charge of the music composition and direction, ensuring that the arrangement kept the lyrics front and center. The song was produced by Neha Dehariya and brought to life by SMW Media and Entertainment in partnership with NRT Entertainment.
Qaseem’s recent works also include “Tu Meri” and “O Mehrbaan,” both of which maintain a similar emotional vibe. These tracks emphasize a more subtle take on romance rather than over-the-top drama.
“O Mehrbaan” was filmed in the picturesque settings of Sikkim and Siliguri, featuring Qaseem alongside actress Shreya Kulkarni. The video leans on atmosphere and genuine interactions instead of heavy dialogue. According to Qaseem, the goal was to let the emotions surface naturally rather than force them through performance.
Over the years, Qaseem has made a smooth transition into the world of songwriting, starting off by contributing behind the scenes. Many of his early pieces were crafted without any formal credit, which ultimately shaped his choice to write, produce, and star in his own projects.
Beyond music, Qaseem has also dipped his toes into television and film. He made his debut on the small screen with Hum Hain Sikandar, and has since been involved in various film projects like Pledge to Protect, Dream City Mumbai, Where Is Najeeb, and Hum Hai King. A lot of these works have made their rounds through festival screenings or had limited releases.
He’s also penned two feature film scripts and has plans to direct them down the line. These projects are still in the works and are expected to center around character-driven narratives.
As the industry continues to change in 2026, Qaseem Haider Qaseem is keeping his focus on consistent output rather than chasing quick fame. His work showcases a preference for thoughtful storytelling and a commitment to long-term growth
