Dharmanagar, Tripura, 17th of February, 2026 : A modern ultrasonography unit was formally inaugurated on Tuesday at the premises of Dewanpasha Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samiti under the jubarajnagar Assembly Area Development Project. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Swami Premghananandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi, Assam, who made the occasion memorable with his presence. The chief guest at the event was MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath.The programme began with an inaugural song, followed by a welcome address delivered by Nitu Bhattacharya, President of Dewanpasha Ramakrishna Mission.

In his address, Swami Premghananandaji Maharaj stated that MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath had placed full trust in the Mission and sanctioned ₹21 lakh from his own development fund for this initiative. He expressed hope that public service activities would be carried out effectively and sincerely, and extended heartfelt gratitude to the MLA. He also emphasized that spreading hatred in the name of religion is unacceptable and firmly stated that such divisive actions cannot be supported.Speaking on the occasion, MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath highlighted that the overall development of society depends on the good health of its people. With the objective of strengthening healthcare services in the region, he facilitated the installation of the ultrasonography machine at Dewanpasha Ramakrishna Mission. He state that residents of Dewanpasha, West Dewanpasha, Sripur, Haflong, and Radhapur villages would greatly benefit from the new facility. The MLA assured continued support for the development of the Mission in the future. Local residents have expressed optimism that this initiative will provide fresh momentum to healthcare services across the jubarajnagar Assembly constituency.
