Special Awareness Programme On Viksit Bharat Organized At Rajnagar Gram Panchayat.

Agartala, Tripura, 26th of February, 2026 : The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Field Office Kailashahar, organized a Special Awareness Programme on Viksit Bharat under the themes Swachhta Hi Seva, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Rajnagar Gram Panchayat, Fatikroy, Kumarghat R.D. Block, Unakoti district on 26 February 2026.

The programme commenced with the planting of tree saplings and a cleanliness drive, led by the Chief Guest, Shri Amalendu Das, Sabhadhipati, Unakoti Zilla Parishad, Tripura, and the Guest of Honour, Shri Pritam Bishwas, Pradhan of Rajnagar Gram Panchayat, Fatikroy, under Kumarghat R.D. Block, Unakoti district. The initiative aimed to propagate the message of clean and green surroundings, ecological conservation, and environmental sustainability.

During the seminar session, the resource person, Shri Mrinal Tarapdar, Retired Headmaster of Hazibari H.S. School, Ratacherra, elaborated on the three themes. He encouraged everyone to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit through active community participation in hygiene and sanitation initiatives. Speaking on Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, he urged participants to plant a tree sapling in honour of their mothers as a symbol of gratitude and environmental responsibility. Referring to Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, he highlighted that the initiative seeks to address the growing issue of substance abuse in the state and promote a drug-free society.

In connection with the programme, an open quiz competition was also organized to engage participants and enhance awareness about the themes. The winners of the quiz competition were felicitated with prizes.

The key components of the programme included a cleanliness drive, plantation of tree saplings, seminar, and quiz competition. The initiative aimed to encourage mass participation in cleanliness activities, promote drug-free living, and motivate citizens to plant and nurture trees for a sustainable and prosperous future in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
