Dharmanagar, Tripura, 6th of March, 2026 : A historic Yuva Shankhnad Rally was held on Friday at the B.B.I. Ground in Dharmanagar under the initiative of the North District Youth Morcha. On the occasion, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha arrived in Dharmanagar by train and later reached the rally venue through a colorful procession.Addressing the gathering as the chief speaker amid a massive crowd, the Chief Minister stated that the present state government has opened a new horizon of development with a strong focus on the youth. He said the government is continuously working to empower the youth through improvements in education, employment opportunities, infrastructure development, and expansion of digital services.He emphasized that the youth are the future of the nation and their strength and enthusiasm will play a crucial role in making Tripura more developed and prosperous in the coming days.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing rapidly, and that pace of development is clearly reflected in Tripura as well. Development work is taking place across every corner of the state, and the government remains committed to improving the quality of life of the people.Addressing the youth present at the rally, the Chief Minister urged them to play a positive role in building society and to raise their voices against social evils such as drug abuse. He expressed hope that with the active participation of the youth, a strong and prosperous Tripura can be built.
Among those present at the rally were BJP Tripura President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Tripura Minister Tinku Roy, Youth Morcha State President Sushanta Deb, Secretary Kishan Chakraborty, MLAs Jadab Lal Nath and Binoy Bhushan Das, BJP North District President Kajal Das, North District Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, Youth Morcha North District President Jayjit Sharma, and the convenor of the Yuva Shankhnad Rally Jayjit Kanu, along with several other party leaders.The rally venue resonated with enthusiasm as a large number of youths gathered for the event. Speakers expressed hope that this unprecedented support from the youth will further strengthen the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming Dharmanagar by-election. They also stated that the Yuva Shankhnad Rally symbolizes a strong commitment towards building a developed, prosperous, and stronger Tripura in the future.
