Agartala, Tripura, 10th of March, 2026 : With the initiative of State Government of Tripura organized inauguration ceremony of Mukhyamantri Sankhyalaghu Unnayan Prokolpa 2025 And Distribution of Loan Assistance at Pragna Bhavan,Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (10th March, 2026).

In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated Mukhyamantri Sankhyalaghu Unnayan Prokolpa 2025 And Distribution of Loan Assistance today.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of Mukhyamantri Sankhyalaghu Unnayan Prokolpa 2025 And Distribution Of Loan Assistance Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that a person’s identity is built not by religion, but by their good deeds. The State Government is trying to strengthen the socio-economic condition of people belonging to religious minority communities by implementing various projects, including improving the standard of education for them. The development of any religion or community is not possible without the expansion of education.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to bring overall development among religious minorities, including education, and to realize the goal of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” Besides this, the Prime Minister is also working to free people from various religious superstitions and to build a developed and united nation under the vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also added that Under the Prime Minister’s “Vocal for Local” initiative, traditional arts and crafts of religious minority communities are also being included, and efforts are being made to make them self-reliant through various government assistance programmes. Due to the Prime Minister’s sincere efforts and foresight, the country is secure today. Through several schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, the Central Government is bringing development in every minority-concentrated area of the country, particularly in the fields of education, healthcare, and the creation of alternative employment opportunities.

Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, MLA Tafajjal Hossain, Chairman of the Tripura Minority Cooperative Development Corporation Jasim Uddin, Chairman of the Tripura Waqf Board Mobambar Ali, Chairman of the Tripura State Haj Committee Shah Alam, and former minister Billal Mia. The welcome address was delivered by Special Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department Nirmal Adhikari. The vote of thanks was delivered by Deputy Director of the Tripura Minority Welfare Department Kobita Debbarma.
