Sonamura, Tripura, 17th of March 2026 : Sonamura Police secret operation was launched at Sonamura on Monday (16th March, 2026). Sonamura Police, arrested one drug paddlers.
According report, the police of Sonamura Police Station, with the assistance of Jatrapur Police Station, arrested a drug peddler from his own locality on charges of being involved in illegal drug trafficking.
The name of the arrested person Subrata Namo (24), also known as Raju, S/O-Surendra Namo, Manuwar Tilla, Bhabanipur, PS – Jatrapur, Sepahijala, Tripura.
During interrogation by a special police team, several names of drug peddlers operating under both Sonamura and Jatrapur Police Stations were revealed. Verification of these names and addresses is currently being carried out by various intelligence agencies.
