Second Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs and Preparation of EVMS & VVPATS (Candidate set/Commissioning) To Be Used In Bye Election To 56-Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency.

New Delhi, Delhi, 23rd of March 2026 : Second Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs is done by the Retuming Officer to randomly allocate EVMs and VVPATS Polling Station-wise through EVM Management System (EMS) developed by Election Commission of India. Detailed instructions on Second Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs are mentioned in Manual on Electronic Voting Machine, which is available in ECI website: https://www.eci.gov.in/evm-vvpat

Schedule of Second Randomization and Preparation of EVMs & VVPATS (Candidate set/Commissioning) to be used in the Bye-election to 56Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency is as under.

These processes will be done in the presence of the contesting candidates/ Election Agent/authorized representative of candidates. The lists of EVMs and VVPATs allocated polling Station-wise and reserve EVMs and VVPATs will be shared to all the contesting candidates immediately after 2nd Randomization. These EVMs and VVPATs only will be used in allocated Polling Stations on poll day. This information was received from office of the CEO, Tripura.
