Agartala, Tripura, 30th of March 2026 : Bodhjungnagar Police during naka checking at Satmukhia under the Bodhjungnagar Police Station, an auto-rickshaw was intercepted and searched, during search recovered Yaba tablets on Sunday (29th March, 2026) night.
On Monday, Officer-in-Charge of Bodhjungnagar Police Station, Prashanta Dey, stated that on Sunday night, during naka checking at Satmukhia under the Bodhjungnagar Police Station, an auto-rickshaw was intercepted and searched.
During the search, 8,000 Yaba tablets were recovered from the accused. One of them is a resident of Aralia, while the other is from the Sepahijala area. The auto driver managed to escape from the spot. The accused will be produced before the court with a request for five days of police remand.
