Noida, 31st of March 2026 : Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS), the medical college under Noida International University, successfully organized the farewell ceremony for its first-ever MBBS batch of 2020 with great enthusiasm and pride on campus. The event marked a significant milestone in the institution’s academic journey, celebrating the achievements and memories of its pioneering batch.

The students and faculty expressed their gratitude to the chairman of Noida International University, Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, for his continuous support and commitment to fostering academic excellence and creating opportunities for student growth.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, graced by Director Dr. S.N. Gupta; Dean Dr. Manisha Jindal; Associate Dean Dr. Arun Chaudhary; Medical Superintendent Dr. Ranjit Ghuliani; and Academic Coordinator Dr. Mithila, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings for the graduating students.
Adding vibrancy to the event, juniors presented a series of captivating cultural performances, creating an emotional and memorable atmosphere for the outgoing batch. The ceremony also recognized academic excellence, where certificates were awarded to the highest scorers. Ms. Jonaakey Sarkar was honored with the prestigious “Best Outgoing Student” award for Batch 2020 in recognition of her outstanding performance and contributions.
Students who brought laurels to the institution through participation and achievements in extracurricular activities at various medical colleges were also felicitated by the faculty, highlighting NIIMS’ emphasis on holistic development.
The farewell concluded on an emotional note, with students reminiscing about their journey while looking forward to their professional careers ahead, carrying the values and learning imparted by NIIMS.
