Dharmanagar, Tripura, 2nd of April, 2026 : A modern fitness centre, “Stellar Body Studio,” was formally inaugurated on Thursday at Jail Road, adjacent to Utsav Hotel in Dharmanagar. The initiative has been undertaken to provide local residents with access to quality fitness facilities, especially at a time when awareness about health and wellness is steadily increasing.
On the occasion of the inauguration, a Hanuman and rituals were organized at the gym premises. Distinguished social worker Jahar Chakraborty and former Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, Barnali Goswami, along with other guests, officially inaugurated the centre by cutting the ribbon. The guests also inspected the modern infrastructure of the gym and praised the initiative.Speaking at the event, the guests emphasized that regular physical exercise is essential to maintain good health in today’s busy lifestyle. They noted that such modern fitness centres would inspire the youth to take an interest in fitness and play a significant role in promoting health awareness in society.
The “Stellar Body Studio” gym is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, offering cardio, strength training, weightlifting, and various other workout options. Members will also have the opportunity to train under the guidance of qualified trainers to ensure proper exercise techniques.The owner of the gym, Arghyakusum Chakraborty, stated that the membership enrollment process has already begun and has received a positive response from the local community. He said, “Our goal is not just to build a gym, but to create a health-conscious society.” The gym will remain open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, allowing working individuals to exercise at their convenience.Locals believe that this new initiative will open a new chapter in fitness culture in Dharmanagar.
