BJP Rally In Dharmanagar : Sharp Attack On Opposition, Call For Victory For Party Candidate.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 3rd of April, 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming by-election to the 56th Dharmanagar Assembly constituency, a massive election rally was organized by the BJP on Friday at the Nayapara Motor Stand in Dharmanagar. A large turnout of party workers and supporters was witnessed at the clearly reflecting the growing political intensity surrounding the by-election. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee attended the rally as the chief speaker. Also present on the were BJP candidate for the Dharmanagar by-election, Jahar Chakraborty, along with several top leaders from North district.

Addressing the gathering, Rajib Bhattacharjee launched a strong attack on the CPI(M) and Congress. He alleged that despite being in power for a long time, the CPI(M) failed to ensure overall development in the state and engaged only in misleading politics. He further claimed that the present BJP government is committed to development -oriented governance. Describing the BJP as the only alternative for the state’s overall progress, he appealed to voters across Dharmanagar to ensure a decisive victory for BJP candidate Jahar Chakraborty in the by-election scheduled for April 9. He emphasized that the party’s primary goal is the holistic development of Dharmanagar and the welfare of its people. After the rally, a strong sense of enthusiasm was visible among party workers. BJP leaders expressed confidence that this public support will pave the way for their victory in the upcoming by-election.
