Dharmanagar, Tripura, 5th of April, 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming Dharmanagar by-election, a massive bike rally was organized on Sunday by the Dharmanagar Mandal Yuva Morcha, braving severe weather conditions. Despite the adverse climate, the enthusiastic participation of the youth stood out, adding significance to the event.
The rally, comprising over a hundred passed through several key areas of Dharmanagar. Even amid rain and unfavorable weather, the energy and enthusiasm of the participants remained unmatched, drawing the attention of local residents.The rally aimed to build public support for BJP-nominated candidate Jahar Chakraborty and appealed to voters to ensure his victory with a large margin. Prominent leaders present at the rally included Yuva Morcha State President and MLA from Bishalgarh, Sushanta Deb, State Minister Sudhangshu Das, and BJP candidate Johar Chakraborty, along with several other party leaders. They actively participated in the rally, motivating party workers.In their addresses, the leaders stated that such overwhelming participation by the youth, even in challenging conditions, is a clear indication of the BJP’s likely victory in the upcoming by-election.
The rally has intensified the election atmosphere across Dharmanagar and is being seen as a significant political development in the region.
