Agartala, Tripura, 10th of April 2026 : On the final day of the campaign for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council election, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited Vanghmun in North Tripura district on Friday.
A large crowd gathered at this public meeting organized in support of Damcharra –Jampui constituency candidate Rabindra Reang.
The Chief Minister said that a substantial amount of funds had been allocated for the development of tribal communities, but these funds were misused by Motha. Due to this corruption, our party has decided to contest all 28 seats independently.
He said that the people want a transparent government in the ADC for the sake of development, and that the BJP is the only reliable option.
Addressing the gathering he said that “Thansa” means everyone living together, but Motha uses the term only to mislead people.
The Chief Minister said that Motha creates problems, while we solve them. He added that there are several issues in Jampui, and if the BJP comes to power, all of them will be resolved.
In his speech, he also highlighted the permanent resolution of the Bru-Reang refugee issue under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister said that a huge amount of funds had been provided over the past five years, but Motha did not carry out any work.
