CATC-33 Focuses On Communication, Leadership & Practical Exposure.

Agartala, Tripura, 14th of April 2026 : The 13 Tripura Battalion NCC successfully conducted Day 6 of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-33) on 13 April 2026, under the leadership of the Camp Commandant, .

The day commenced with morning Physical Training (PT), followed by breakfast, promoting fitness, discipline, and a positive start to the day.

Cadets then attended sessions on FC/BC and Introduction to Infantry Weapons, gaining essential knowledge about basic military concepts and weapon systems. This was followed by a Communication class, enhancing cadets’ understanding of effective communication skills in both military and personal contexts.

After a tea break, a special session on Personality Development & Leadership was delivered by the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath. The session focused on building confidence, leadership qualities, decision-making ability, and overall personality, motivating cadets to become responsible and capable individuals.

Cadets then underwent a Medical Review (MR) to ensure their well-being during the camp. Following lunch and rest (OTW), the afternoon session included a demonstration on Firing Position, providing practical exposure to correct techniques and posture in weapon handling.

Later in the day, cadets visited Ujjayanta Palace, where they gained cultural and historical insights, enriching their overall camp experience.

The day concluded with personal hygiene routines, roll call, and dinner, maintaining discipline and structured camp life.

Overall, Day 6 of CATC-33 was conducted successfully with a blend of theoretical learning, personality development, practical training, and cultural exposure, contributing to the holistic development of the cadets.
