Ampi, Tripura, 17th of April 2026 : The TMP candidate of Ampi nagar 23 ADC constituency Mr. Kamal Kalai has obtained gorgeous victory with great margin defeating his main rival BJP candidate. He has gained 15278 votes while his rival BJP candidate Swadagar Kalai availed 4488 votes in this constituency. After the result declaration an inspiring victory wave has been prevailed amidst the TMP activists of the constituency which was realy noticeable. On asking Mr. Kamal Kalai he said, “People have given me large responsibility and I shall be fully dedicated to meet the requirements of the people in my constituency. I am just a worker of the party but the victory achievement goes to our beloved Bubagra.” As per the report, The TMP has registered a gorgeous victory in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) election by winning 24 seats out of 28 constituencies.
This is second straight victory of the regional party in the northeastern state floated in 2020 with a popular slogan of Greater Tipraland, a separate state for the council areas.
The BJP candidates appeared victory in four seats. Mr. Kamal Kalai has expressed his great gratitude to the people of Ampi nagar for their love and blessing.
