Sonamura, Tripura, 20th of April 2026 : Sonamura Police during patrolling duty recovered and seized total 27 Nos Eskuf cough syrup at N C Nagar border road, Sonamura under Sepahijala District on Monday (20th April, 2026).
According to sources, Sonamura Police Station recovered and seized total 27 Nos Eskuf cough syrup. After that, it was seized following all legal formalities as unclaimed.
The destination market value of the seized ganja is approximately to be Twenty Seven (27) thousand only.
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station said that Sonamura police has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal seizes ganja.
OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
