New Delhi, Delhi, 29th of April 2026 : Karma Lakelands, India’s 270-acre eco-resort known for its commitment to sustainable living and immersive lifestyle experiences has announced the launch of its all-new padel court bringing one of the fastest-growing global sports to its vibrant community.

Marking a significant addition to its evolving Sports Junction, which already features multiple pickleball courts, the introduction of padel reinforces Karma Lakelands commitment to creating dynamic, future-forward recreational spaces. A unique blend of tennis and squash, padel is rapidly gaining popularity worldwide for its fast-paced, social, and highly engaging format.
The launch event was thoughtfully curated to offer guests an immersive introduction to the sport. The evening began with an engaging exhibition match, giving attendees a firsthand glimpse into the fast-paced and dynamic nature of padel. This was followed by an interactive coaching session, where professional trainers guided guests through the fundamentals of the game, allowing both beginners and enthusiasts to experience the sport in an approachable and hands-on manner. The format not only showcased the sport but also encouraged active participation, reinforcing Karma Lakelands’ focus on community-driven experiences.
In a gesture rooted in Indian tradition, the inauguration moved away from conventional ceremonies. Instead of a ribbon-cutting, the court was symbolically ‘opened’ honouring the idea of new beginnings with grace and intention. The moment was led by the community’s senior-most resident, Mr. Ashok Jaidka, adding a sense of warmth and meaning to the occasion.

“At Karma Lakelands, our focus has always been on building a community-led ecosystem that brings people together through meaningful and engaging experiences. The introduction of padel is a natural extension of that vision, it is a sport that is social, accessible, and energising, making it ideal for our diverse community of members and guests. With this launch, we are not just adding another sporting facility, but creating a space that encourages connection, movement, and a shared sense of belonging. As we continue to evolve, our aim remains to curate experiences that seamlessly blend wellness, recreation, and community living,” said Aryadev Khurana, Vice President, Karma Lakelands
At Karma Lakelands, wellness continues to evolve through experiences that are active, social, and immersive. The addition of padel further strengthens its commitment to encouraging movement, connection, and a vibrant community spirit.
The court is now open, and Karma Lakelands looks forward to welcoming more players to experience the sport that is fast, social and truly addictive.
