The Badminton Association Highlighted Upcoming Blood Donation Camp In Dharmanagar.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 30th of April 2026 : A unique humanitarian initiative has been undertaken by the North Tripura District Badminton Association. A press conference was held on Thursday in Dharmanagar to officially announce an upcoming blood donation camp, jointly organized by the North Tripura District Badminton Association and Dharmanagar Badminton Players.

According to the organizers, the large-scale blood donation camp will be held on May 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM at the Indoor Stadium of BBI Complex in Dharmanagar. The event will be conducted under the slogan “Donate Blood, Save Life”, with the aim of spreading awareness about humanity and social responsibility.

Organizers stated that the initiative reflects their commitment beyond sports, emphasizing their role in serving society. They highlighted the critical importance of blood donation, especially during emergencies, and noted that such camps play a vital role in saving lives.Special arrangements have been made for donors, including free health check-ups, nutritious food, refreshments, and a Certificate of Appreciation for each participant. The organizers expressed hope that these incentives would encourage greater participation from the public. The press conference was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Dibyajyoti Nath, President of the North Tripura District Badminton Association; L. Darlong, Additional District Magistrate of North District; along with Kallol Chakraborty, Ritam Chakraborty, and others.

At the event praised the initiative, stating that engaging youth in social service is essential in today’s time, and this blood donation camp is a significant step in that direction.In his address, President Dibyajyoti Nath said,

“Sports are not only for physical development; they also help build social awareness and responsibility. The Badminton Association in Dharmanagar has taken this initiative out of that sense of duty. We hope more young people will come forward to participate in such noble causes.”He further expressed optimism that similar initiatives would be organized on a larger scale in the future, contributing to positive social change.
