Governor Of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Extends Greetings On Eid-Ul-Adha.

Agartala, Tripura, 28th of May 2026 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community as well as all the people of the State on the occasion Of Eid-Ul-Adha.

In message, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said “ It gives me immense pleasure to convey my warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Tripura on the auspicious occasion of celebration of “Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)”.Id-ul-Zuha or Eid-Al-Adha, properly known as Bakrid translates the “Feast of the Obedience and Sacrifice” in English. It is one of the Islamic Holiest Festival and it is the second of the two Islamic Festivals, Celebrated throughout the World.”

Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu also added, “This day and its festivities are a symbol of Devotion to Almighty Allah and His Desires. It also marks the completion of Hajj (Fifths Pillar of Islam) for Muslims. Eid-Ul-Adha is a day of Sacrifice. One of the key rituals of Eid-Al-Adha is “Qurbani” which means Sacrifice. According to the Islamic Lunar Calendar, the festival is observed on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. People from the Muslim community wear new clothes and visit a mosque to offer their prayers and wish for peace and prosperity. May this festival bring joy, love, happiness, peace, prosperity and brotherhood among the people of Tripura.”
