Dharmanagar, Tripura, 30th of May 2026 : A tragic road accident took place late Thursday night on Algapur Road in Dharmanagar subdivision of North Tripura, leaving one person seriously injured. According to reports, the accident occurred around 1:25 AM near the 3rd Bridge area on Algapur Road when a motorcycle lost control and skidded onto the road. The bike involved in the accident bore registration number TR-05-D-9770.
After receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Dharmanagar Fire Service rushed to the spot immediately. With the help of local residents, the injured rider was rescued and shifted to Dharmanagar District Hospital for emergency treatment.The injured person has been identified as Ramen Das (52). He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, and doctors are closely monitoring his condition.Preliminary investigation suggests that the rider may have lost control of the motorcycle while it was in motion, leading to the accident.The incident has created concern in the area and once again raised questions regarding road safety and late-night driving precautions.
