Warangal, 4th of June, 2026 : In a significant move set to redefine creative education in India, Hamstech College of Creative Education has partnered with SR University to establish the SRU School of Design powered by Hamstech.
The collaboration brings together Hamstech’s three decades of expertise in design training with SR University’s 150-acre integrated campus, known for its strong academic framework, modern infrastructure and growing national and international recognition. Together, the institutions aim to create a learning environment aligned with evolving industry needs.
The SRU School of Design will launch two Bachelor of Design programmes, Fashion Design and Interior Design, focused on building strong creative foundations and preparing students for careers in the design field. The curriculum emphasises hands-on training, project-based learning, and exposure to real-world design practices.
Further strengthening the Fashion Design programme, celebrated designer Neeta Lulla, a multiple National Award-winning designer, joins as Celebrity Mentor, offering valuable industry insights and mentorship to aspiring designers.
Speaking about the partnership, A. Varada Reddy, Chancellor of SR University, said, “This collaboration is aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge, practical experience, and the creative confidence needed to excel in the evolving design landscape. As the importance of design education continues to grow, we believe the future will increasingly be shaped by creativity and innovation.”
