Amarpur, Tripura, 26th of June 2026 : Debdaru police officials have arrested three criminals today. During the market patrolling the police team led by Bakuljoy Reang, the OC of Debdaru O.P under Baikhara Police station has arrested a man named Karna Tripura, son of Ishawar Chandra Tripura of village Birendra Rowaja Para, Bishnupur under Sabroom PS.
As per the report, about 0920 hours the police officials detected the person alongwith 40 Litres Of CM liquor in Kowaifung market in Shantir Bazar. A case has been lodged against this man as U/S 69 Tripura Exise Act. On the other hand, Krishna Mohan Tripura (26) and Mitra Singh Tripura (50) of Kowaifung village under Baikhara Police station were arrested for their outlaw activities in the market area. Both the criminals were nabbed U/S 90(2) Tripura police act.
As per the OC of the O.P, “The tendency of narcotics, drugs and other anti-social activities are destroying the life of the youths and desecreting the social atmosphere. We are always in promptness to take proper action against them and maintain the normal healthy atmosphere of our jurisdiction.”
