Nearly eight lakh devotees visited the Kamakhya Temple during the four-day Ambubachi festival at the Kamakhya Temple In Guwahati, Assam. According sources, 7,96,777 devotees, including international pilgrims, visited the Kamakhya Temple during the four-day Ambubachi festival.
The Ambubachi Festival marks the annual menstruation cycle of Goddess Kamakhya, symbolising the power of creation. A large number of devotees, spiritual gurus, tantriks, and sadhus from across India and abroad travel to Ambubachi Festival.
So many social and religious organizations to set up camps, stalls, or distribute food and water are provided to the devotees during the Ambubachi Mela at Kamakhya Temple.
During the Ambubachi Festival in Kamakhya, Assam Government, so many social organization health camps are also provided for the devotees, along with other essential facilities and mini ambulance services.
The Assam Government’s strictly security in Ambubachi Festival with enhanced measures in place to ensure the safety of devotees. These measures include a strong police presence, CCTV surveillance, and designated assistance booths.
