Agartala, Tripura, 27th of June 2026 : The sixth day of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-50, organized by 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Agartala, was conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel. The day’s activities were focused on enhancing the cadets’ disaster response capabilities, military knowledge, and leadership qualities through a series of practical and interactive training sessions.

A major highlight of the day was the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) training session, during which NDRF personnel conducted comprehensive demonstrations on disaster preparedness, search and rescue operations, evacuation techniques, first aid, and emergency response procedures. The cadets actively participated in the practical exercises and gained valuable insights into managing emergencies and extending timely assistance during natural and man-made disasters.
The cadets also attended scheduled military training classes and practical sessions aimed at improving discipline, teamwork, and fieldcraft. These activities strengthened their confidence, physical endurance, and decision-making abilities while reinforcing the core values of the National Cadet Corps.

The Commanding Officer, 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Colonel N. S. Baath, addressed the cadets and emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, resilience, and selfless service. He encouraged every cadet to make the best use of the camp by actively participating in all training activities and developing the qualities of responsible and capable future leaders. Colonel Baath also appreciated the efforts of the NDRF instructors and the camp training staff for organizing informative and practical sessions that significantly enhanced the cadets’ preparedness for disaster management.

The day concluded with enthusiastic participation from all cadets, reflecting the spirit of unity, discipline, and service that forms the foundation of the NCC. CATC-50 continues to provide a comprehensive platform for nurturing confident, skilled, and socially responsible youth committed to nation-building.
