Agartala, Tripura, 11th of July, 2026 : The Pride Ride 2026, the opening event of The Pride Collection Project 2026, was successfully organized morning, bringing together cyclists, LGBTQIA+ community members, allies, and citizens to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and equality.
The initiative is presented by Agartala Buzz, with the support of Swabhimaan NGO (Tripura LGBTQIA+ Collective) and Agartala Cycloholics Foundation (ACF). The event was professionally managed by Agartala Events For You, while Just Fada Fadi joined as the official Refreshment Partner.
The ride commenced from Ujjayanta Palace after a ceremonial flag-off and concluded at Heritage Park, with participants carrying messages promoting respect, acceptance, and equal rights for all. Cyclists rode through the city spreading awareness that every individual deserves dignity, irrespective of gender identity or sexual orientation.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers highlighted that The Pride Collection Project 2026 is more than a single event—it is a year-long initiative dedicated to encouraging dialogue, awareness, visibility, and community participation for a more inclusive Tripura.
Agartala Cycloholics Foundation once again reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive cycling and community engagement. ACF has been associated with The Pride Collection Project since its inception and continues to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. The foundation also actively participated in the Pride Ride 2022, reflecting its long-standing belief that cycling is for everyone, regardless of identity or background.
Representatives from Swabhimaan NGO appreciated the overwhelming support from participants and emphasized that public participation plays a crucial role in creating a society built on equality, empathy, and mutual respect.
The organizers expressed gratitude to every cyclist, volunteer, supporter, media representative, and partner organization for making the opening event a success. Special thanks were extended to Just Fada Fadi for providing refreshments to all participants.
