Dharmanagar, Tripura, 15th of July 2026 : Ahead of the sacred Rath Yatra festival scheduled for tomorrow, a press conference was held on Wednesday at the ISKCON Temple located in the Dharmanagar Rajbari premises.During the press conference, ISKCON officials briefed the media about the preparations, schedule of events, and special arrangements made for devotees. They informed that, as in previous years, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva, and Goddess Subhadra will be celebrated in a spiritually vibrant atmosphere.
The festival will begin in the morning with special prayers and rituals, followed by devotional kirtans, distribution of prasadam, and a grand chariot procession. The Ratha will travel through several important roads of Dharmanagar town.Expecting a large gathering of devotees and members of the public, the ISKCON authorities stated that necessary security and crowd-management arrangements have been made in coordination with the local administration to ensure a safe and orderly celebration.The officials also appealed to people from all sections of the district to participate in the Ratha Yatra and seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath. They further requested everyone’s cooperation to help ensure the festival is conducted peacefully and smoothly.With the festival just a day away, a festive atmosphere has already taken over Dharmanagar town, and enthusiasm among devotees and residents is clearly visible.
