Agartala, Tripura, 17th of July 2026 : The Army Attachment Camp–2026 for 77 NCC cadets, 1 ANO and 1 CTO of 13th Tripura Battalion NCC continued successfully at 1 Bihar (Batalik), Salbagan Military Station, Agartala, under the supervision of Army Officers,2 JCOs, 3 NCOs, . The day’s training programme focused on enhancing the cadets’ physical fitness, military knowledge, leadership qualities and awareness of career opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces.

The day commenced with an energetic Physical Training (PT) Class, expertly conducted by Sipahi Wadhibhi Mayur. Cadets actively participated in warm-up exercises, endurance training and physical fitness activities aimed at improving stamina, strength, agility and overall fitness.
Following the PT session, cadets attended a Drill Class conducted by Avinda Roshan Thakur and Lance Havildar Sandip Kumar Singh. The session emphasized marching, squad formations, command execution, synchronization and military bearing, helping cadets develop discipline, confidence and teamwork.

Cadets were then introduced to the 84 mm Rocket Launcher Mk III through a comprehensive weapon familiarization session conducted by Havildar Paritosh Kumar. The instructor explained the weapon’s role, major components, operational capabilities, handling procedures and essential safety precautions, providing cadets with valuable knowledge of modern infantry equipment.The cadets also attended a Moral & Motivation Lecture, which inspired them to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, discipline and leadership while strengthening their commitment towards serving the nation.
An informative Career Guidance Lecture on opportunities to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA) was delivered by Lieutenant Suvam Rawat. The session provided cadets with valuable insights into eligibility criteria, selection procedures, training patterns and career prospects in the Indian Armed Forces, motivating many to pursue a career as commissioned officers.

The day’s activities concluded with Games and Sports in the evening , during which cadets enthusiastically participated in Volleyball and Basketball. The sporting events promoted physical fitness, team spirit, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the cadets.
Overall, the training programme proved to be highly informative and motivating, further strengthening the cadets’ military knowledge, confidence, discipline and leadership qualities while making the Army Attachment Camp at 1 Bihar (Batalik) a memorable and enriching learning experience.
