Governor Of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Inspects Development Projects On Second Day Of Dharmanagar Visit.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 26th of July 2026 : On the second day of his two-day official visit to North Tripura, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inspected several development projects and institutions on Saturday (25th July, 2026).

Governor visited a number of important locations in Dharmanagar and Jubarajnagar blocks to review the progress and implementation of various government initiatives.The Governor began the day’s tour at 9:55 a.m., departing from the Dharmanagar Circuit House. His first stop was the Jail Café on Jail Road in Dharmanagar, where he reviewed rehabilitation and skill-development activities aimed at helping inmates become self-reliant. He interacted with officials and gathered detailed information about the programmes being carried out.He then visited Uptakhali S.B. School, where he assessed the quality of education, school infrastructure, and the implementation of various government schemes for students.

The Governor later inspected the Sripur Rice Mill, reviewing the processes of paddy procurement, storage, rice production, and the public food distribution system. Officials briefed him on the functioning of the mill and its role in ensuring food security.Continuing his tour, the Governor visited the Oil Palm Plantation at Jubarajnagar.

During the visit, he was informed by officials about the state’s efforts to expand oil palm cultivation to increase farmers’ income. He emphasized the need to encourage more farmers to adopt oil palm cultivation and reviewed the progress of the project.Accompanying the Governor were North Tripura Superintendent of Police Avinash Rai, District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, senior officials from various government departments, and local public representatives.

After returning to the Circuit House for lunch and a short break, the Governor proceeded to Dharmanagar Railway Station in the afternoon and departed for Agartala by the Kanchanjunga Express, marking the conclusion of his official visit to North Tripura.Extensive administrative preparations had been made for the Governor’s visit. Tight security arrangements were in place throughout the tour, and all necessary measures were taken by the district administration at every inspection site to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme
