Dharmanagar, Tripura, 2nd of August, 2026 : The visit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tripura State President Abhishek Debroy to North Tripura on Saturday (1st August, 2026) created an enthusiastic atmosphere among party workers and supporters in Dharmanagar.
The North District BJP Yuva Morcha organized a grand motorcycle rally with over a hundred bikes to accord him a warm welcome. A large number of party workers and supporters from different parts of the district participated in the reception.Upon arriving in Dharmanagar, Debroy first visited the Dharmanagar Kali Temple, where he offered prayers to Goddess Kali. He later attended the BJP North District organizational meeting held at the Vivekananda Sardha Shatabarshiki Bhavan.
Amidst the other distinguished leaders there were MLAs Jahar Chakraborty, Yadav Lal Nath, and Binay Bhushan Das; BJP State Secretary Malina Debnath; State Co-Secretary Chandan Debnath; North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath; District President Kajal Das; along with party leaders and workers from different levels of the North District.
Addressing the gathering, the State President said that the organization is the foundation of the party and that dedicated workers are its greatest strength. He stressed the importance of strengthening the party at the booth level, expanding public outreach, intensifying the membership drive, and successfully implementing future political programs with selfless public service as the guiding principle. He also urged party workers to maintain regular contact with the public and work in accordance with the party’s ideology.
Discussing the current political situation, Debroy called upon party leaders and workers to work in unity to further strengthen the organization at the grassroots level.The leaders and workers present at the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the BJP’s organizational base and expanding public service activities in line with the party’s principles and ideology.
According to the party leadership, the State President’s visit is expected to further strengthen the BJP’s organizational foundation in North Tripura while boosting the morale, enthusiasm, and confidence of party workers.
