Guwahati, Assam, 5th of August, 2026 : Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport (LGBIA), Guwahati, marked another milestone in enhancing regional air connectivity with the commencement of the inaugural flight service between Guwahati and Deoghar.
The inaugural flight was celebrated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting and cake-cutting event at the airport in the presence of the Chief Airport Officer (CAO), airline representatives, airport officials, and other key stakeholders. To commemorate the occasion, the first passenger of the flight was presented with a sapling, symbolising growth, sustainability, and new beginnings.
