Khowai, Tripura, 10th of August, 2026 : As part of the nationwide ‘Jail Bharo’ movement called by the Left parties, the Khowai Divisional Committee of the CPI(M) organized a ‘Jail Bharo’ programme in Khowai on Monday (10th August, 2026). Party workers and supporters participated in the protest, raising various demands and chanting slogans against the policies of the Central Government.
Amidst the other distinguished leaders there were CPI(M) Khowai Divisional Secretary and MLA Nirmal Biswas, Manoj Das, Palash Bhowmik, Gautam Pal, and other party leaders and workers were participated in the rally today.
At the event MLA Nirmal Biswas expressed his views on the day-to-day problems faced by the common people. Highlighting various public-interest issues currently affecting the country, he stressed the need for continued movements and called for strengthening mass movements to safeguard the rights and interests of the common people.
