Mumbai, Maharashtra, 17th of August, 2026 : Actor Shailesh Ramugde is currently making headlines not only for his acting career but also for his commitment to social causes. With a series of awards and honours, he has emerged as one of the promising talents in the entertainment industry. His accolades include ‘Promising Actor of the Year’ at the International Glory Awards 2025, ‘Best Actor’ at the II Awards and Boogal Bollywood Awards, and ‘Rising Sensation of the Year’ presented by Mid-Day Showbiz, reflecting his growing popularity and acting prowess.
However, Shailesh’s achievements go beyond the world of glamour and awards. On the occasion of Independence Day, he spent time with students at Nova English High School in Vasai, conveying a meaningful message of patriotism and social responsibility. During the event, he awarded scholarships to 25 students and encouraged them to pursue their dreams through education.
Shailesh has previously contributed to education as well. Last year, he provided scholarships to 78 students of a school associated with the Ayushman Foundation in Airoli. This year, he has extended his scholarship initiative to students who have passed Class 10, while also continuing educational assistance for students in Classes 11 and 12.
His message at the ceremony was particularly significant: freedom does not only mean liberation from historical oppression; it also means freeing the younger generation from addiction, substance abuse and misguided paths. By combining his success in acting with a strong sense of social responsibility, Shailesh Ramugde is emerging as a positive role model and an inspiration for the new generation.
