Agartala, Tripura, 21st of August, 2026 : Knowledge, dedication and skill are the key to development. Good deeds build identify of a person. That is why the officers have to work rising above the line of caste and creed. The officers have to play the role of a bridge between the administration and people by working with transparency and honesty. One who could take more challenges to go ahead, he will prove to be the more efficient administrator. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made these remarks after inaugurating the certificate distribution ceremony of the TCS 2026 batch at the end of their training. Held at Pragna Bhavan the event was organized by the P&T department and SIPARD on Friday (21st August, 2026) .

The Chief Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given emphasis on skill development to build Viksit Bharat by the year 2047. In Tripura developmental works are being implemented through coordination between the state administration and public representatives to develop Tripura as Viksit Tripura. He said, the government is giving priority to maintenance of transparency in the development works. The newly inducted officers also have to work with transparency and gain experience. Only then their work will serve the purpose. The officers always have to strive for skilling up themselves as the time demands. One who will work more hard for the people, he could earn more love and trust of the people. The Prime Minister has resolved to transform the country into Digital India. The state government is also marching towards that end.

The Chief Minister said, a job should not always mean a means of livelihood, but a medium of serving the people. It is because of the state government’s dedicated work that Tripura has attained the second position in GDP among the North-Eastern states. It has also attained several awards for its good work. It had successfully organized the G-20 Summit. These days the government is recruiting new officers in the administration with the intention of implementing various development projects properly. And for the successful implementation of projects officials concerned must be skilled and honest. Socio-economic development of people of the state could happen only through transparent implementation of the development projects. NITI Aayog has appreciated the developmental works of Tripura and declared it as a ‘front runner state’.
