Hyderabad, Telangana, 29th of August 2026 : In an education landscape increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, curriculum reforms and academic performance, veteran educator Dr. Prapurna Inaganti has launched Teachers Diaries, a podcast and dialogue platform dedicated to celebrating the people at the heart of learning—the teachers.
Guided by the powerful belief that “Every Teacher Is a Star,” the initiative aims to present educators as more than syllabus executors. It offers them a safe and welcoming space to speak about their classroom experiences, career journeys, professional achievements, personal challenges and the realities that often remain outside public discussion.
For Dr. Prapurna, the platform is the result of more than two decades of experience in education across Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Telangana. A Ph.D. in English Literature, she conducted her doctoral research on human relationships in Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things. During her career, she has served as senior faculty, Head of Department, academic coordinator and CBSE Assistant Head Examiner.
She has also led the VOX VERITAS debating club and served as chief organiser for TEDx at Meridian School, Madhapur. These diverse experiences gave her a close understanding of the changing demands placed on teachers and the many pressures they face while adapting to new policies, technology, teaching methods and parental expectations.
“Everyone is discussing how education should change, but we must also ask a more fundamental question: Who is listening to the teacher?” said Dr. Prapurna Inaganti.
Following a “minimum-budget, maximum-impact” approach, Teachers Diaries focuses on genuine conversations rather than elaborate production. Its dedicated podcast room has been created as a comfortable and secure environment where educators can share their thoughts openly and without fear or hesitation.
The podcast will feature conversations on memorable classroom moments, innovative teaching practices, creative breakthroughs and professional milestones. It will also address difficult and rarely discussed concerns, including institutional pressures, compensation disparities, professional evaluations and the emotional demands of teaching.
Beyond sharing individual stories, Teachers Diaries seeks to strengthen understanding among teachers, students, parents and school leaders. By revealing the realities behind classroom teaching, the platform hopes to encourage empathy, respect and more meaningful communication among all education stakeholders.
The initiative is intended to promote constructive dialogue and awareness, not personal attacks or institutional mudslinging. Its larger purpose is to create a responsible space where concerns can be discussed honestly and where the teaching profession can be understood in its full emotional, professional and social context.
The launch comes at a crucial moment for education, as schools and educators navigate artificial intelligence, evolving classroom methodologies and the implementation of the National Education Policy. Dr. Prapurna believes that conversations about the future of education must include the voices of those shaping that future every day.
Through Teachers Diaries, educators, parents, students and policymakers are invited to listen, reflect and participate in a movement that places teachers at the centre of the educational narrative. At its core, the platform delivers a simple but important message: before society can redefine education, it must first listen to the people who bring it to life.
