Light Of Life Trust Listed On BSE Social Stock Exchange To Raise Funds For Education Of 420 Underprivileged Children.

Mumbai, Maharashtra, 5th of September, 2026 : Light of Life Trust (LOLT), a non-profit organisation working to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty through education, has been listed on the BSE Social Stock Exchange (SSE). Through this listing, the organisation aims to raise funds for the education and overall development of 420 children from underprivileged communities in Bihar and Jharkhand.

As part of the listing, LOLT has launched a ₹1.27 crore Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) Bond Issue. A ZCZP instrument is a social-sector financial instrument in which investors do not receive interest or repayment of the principal amount. The face value of each instrument is ₹1,000, while investors can apply for a minimum of one instrument.

The initiative is designed to provide a transparent and structured platform for individuals and institutions to contribute towards the education and development of children from disadvantaged communities.

Light of Life Trust Founder Willy Doctor said that education does not merely transform the future of a child but has the potential to change the direction of an entire family and community. She said the listing on the SSE would provide people and institutions with a transparent and organised platform to contribute towards children’s education.

C.S. Payal Gupta, Founder of ERIX Advisors, described the development as an important milestone and said that the SSE provides NGOs with an effective mechanism to raise funds while strengthening transparency and accountability.

The Social Stock Exchange is a dedicated platform that enables eligible non-profit organisations and social enterprises to raise funds for social development initiatives while providing greater transparency in fund utilisation and impact reporting.
