Governor Of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Distributes Ducklings & Chicks Among SHGs.

Agartala, Tripura, 17th of September, 2026 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu, distributed ducklings and chicks to members of five Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of Bijoynagar Gram Panchayat under Mohanpur R.D. Block at Lok Bhavan, Agartala, on Wednesday (16th September, 2026).

Addressing on the occasion, the Governor emphasized the importance of promoting livestock and poultry farming as a means of strengthening rural livelihoods and generating sustainable sources of income. He encouraged the members of the Self-Help Groups to make proper use of the ducklings and chicks and to adopt scientific practices in their rearing and management. The Governor expressed hope that such initiatives would help empower rural women and other members of Self-Help Groups, enhance household income, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of rural communities. Joint Secretary to the Governor, Jayanta Bhattacharjee, was also present on the occasion.
