Khowai, Tripura, 26th of September, 2026 : With the initiative of Khowai District Information and Cultural Affairs Department organized 206th birth anniversary of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar at the Atal Community Hall, Ganki Higher Secondary School, Khowai, Tripura on Saturday (26th September, 2026).
The attending guests shed detailed light on the life and work of Vidyasagar, calling upon the students to build themselves up in the fields of education, culture, and humanity in the days ahead.
The event was presided over by Ganki, acting In-Charge of the Higher Secondary School, Subarna Debbarma. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were District Sabhadhipati Aparna Singha Roy, prominent social activist Samir Kumar Das, Joint Director of the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs Dilip Kumar Debbarma, teacher Amit Das, along with other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
