Federal Bank Gunners Soldierathon Pays Tribute To 200 Years Of The Regiment Of Artillery.

Hyderabad, Telangan, 30th of September, 2026 : Federal Bank, in association with Fitistan – Ek Fit Bharat, concluded the second edition of the Federal Bank Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad 2026 at the Palani Parade Ground, Artillery Centre, Golconda, Hyderabad. Held on September 27, the event saw nearly 7,000 participants, including serving personnel, veterans, their families, fitness enthusiasts and citizens, come together in a spirited celebration of fitness, camaraderie and gratitude towards the Armed Forces.

The event was attended by Manish Naresh Shah, Additional SVP & Zonal Head – Hyderabad, Federal Bank; Charly Devasia, Deputy Vice President – II and Regional Head – Hyderabad, Federal Bank; Major General Srinivas, GOC TASA; Brigadier Rahul Machhral, Commandant, Artillery Centre; Shilpa Bhagat, Founder, Fitistan and Major Surendra Poonia, Founder, Fitistan. Adding star power to the celebration, popular actor Adivi Sesh also participated in the Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad.

This year’s edition held special significance as it commemorated 200 years of the Regiment of Artillery, coinciding with the bicentennial Gunners Day celebrations. The occasion offered participants an opportunity to recognise the Regiment’s rich heritage and pay tribute to generations of Gunners for their dedication and service to the nation.

Encouraging participation across different age groups and fitness levels, the event featured 21 km Half Marathon, 10 km Run, 5 km Run and 1 km Gunners Day Celebration Walk.
