Khowai, Tripura, 2nd of October, 2026 : A 12-wheeler truck crashed on Ramchandraghat Bridge after the driver reportedly lost control while attempting to save a E-rickshaw (Tom-Tom) today (2nd October, 2026).
The incident created tension in the area. Following the accident, the truck driver was found in a helpless state and broke down in tears, overwhelmed by the suddenness of the incident.
According to local residents, the truck got into a dangerous situation while attempting to save the Tomtom from an accident. The incident subsequently occurred on the bridge.
The truck reportedly sustained damage in the accident. However, according to preliminary information, the Tomtom driver and passengers escaped unharmed in the incident.
Upon receiving news of the incident, local residents rushed to the spot. The road reportedly remained blocked for nearly an hour, leaving a large number of vehicles stranded on both sides.
