SDM Conducted Negotiation Meeting Between Plaintiff & Defendant.                   

Amarpur, Tripura, 6th of October 2026 :  The SDM of Teliamura subdivision has organized an Negotiation Meeting Between Plaintiff and defendant here in SDM office in Teliamura, in Khowai district on Tuesday (6th October, 2026).

As per the report, the TRPCL (Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation Lmt) chairman Patal Kanya Jamatia has blocked a footpath run through her agricultural farm land. Local Bengali inhabitants of the locality have appealed the SDM to remove this movement obstacle.

In the hand TRPC chairman Patal Kanya Jamatia raised allegation that locals use the way along her agricultural farm land and destroy her farm fence, saplings, harvest, net etc. So, she denied to allow them to utilise the way further. However, to find out an appreciable solution SDM has called both the plaintiff and defendant and conducted a negotiation meeting in the SDM office. Local senior citizens and social leaders have participated the meeting and shared their opinions with the SDM. To handle the situation peacefully the SDM has requested all representatives to maintain law and order avoiding any kind of violence. He has instructed PK J/M to be gracious with the local inhabitants.

The TRPC chairman Patal Kanya Jamatia has expressed that if the local inhabitants of the village generate disturbance and harm her agricultural farm then she will not allow anyone to walk on this way in her personal farm land. The final official decree will be issued shortly from the SDM office and it is expected that a acceptable solution will appear for all.
